DESCRIPTION

When talking about Villa Rica, it is inevitable to end up talking about coffee, it is the main economic activity of the district, which occupies 90% of its population and is the meeting point of the three cultures that coexist in the district: Descendants of native Yanesha , The Austro-German settlers and the Andean settlers, who are joined by passion and work for coffee. A special product that counts the Villa Rica Golden Coffee Agroindustrial Cooperative is the Yanesha coffee, currently there are 11 native Yaneshas communities that counts the District of Villa Rica, which 6 communities have the ideal height for the coffee cultivation and are part of the partners Of the Cooperative (1300 to 1700 masl); between them:
